Omega Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond 007 60th Anniversary | 42mm

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.002 was launched in 2022 to celebrate 60 years of James Bond on the big screen. Rather than simply adding 007 branding to a standard Seamaster, Omega created a distinctive configuration inspired by the blue Seamaster Diver 300M worn by James Bond in GoldenEye, combining vintage design cues with one of the most unique casebacks found on a modern Seamaster.

One of the defining features of this edition is its extraordinary animated James Bond caseback. Beneath the sapphire crystal, Bond’s silhouette appears against the famous spinning gun-barrel motif from the opening sequence of the films. Omega achieves the animation through a moiré-effect construction, with the visual sequence linked to the movement of the watch’s lollipop seconds hand.

The watch is fitted to a brushed stainless-steel mesh bracelet, taking inspiration from the titanium mesh bracelet used on the Seamaster worn by Bond in No Time To Die. The combination of the mesh bracelet, domed sapphire crystal, aluminum bezel and wave-pattern dial gives this anniversary model a noticeably more vintage-inspired appearance than the standard contemporary Diver 300M.

This particular example is offered as a full set. The James Bond 60th Anniversary was originally presented in a special blue wooden presentation box decorated with the original Diver 300M wave pattern and Bond-inspired detailing, including a concealed push button on the side.
