The Cartier Santos-Dumont Ref. WSSA0023 is an elegant modern interpretation of one of Cartier’s most historically important designs. Inspired by the wristwatch Louis Cartier created for pioneering Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1904, the model retains the distinctive geometric case, exposed bezel screws, Roman numeral dial, and refined proportions that have defined the Santos-Dumont for more than a century.

The polished stainless-steel case measures 38mm x 27.5mm and is exceptionally slim at approximately 7.3mm thick, giving the watch an elegant, low-profile presence on the wrist. Another signature Cartier detail is the beaded crown set with a blue synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel, providing a subtle touch of color that complements the blued hands. The combination of the rectangular steel case, Roman numeral dial, and leather strap gives the watch the unmistakably refined aesthetic associated with the Santos-Dumont collection.
